Mahendra Patankar

Mahendra Patankar is a seasoned indirect tax professional with over 30 years of experience in VAT, Service Tax and GST. A Commerce Graduate, Diploma in Tax Management ( Welingkar Institute of Management Studies-Mumbai)  ICWA (Final Stage IV Passed) and completed GST Practitioner certificate course conducted by MSME Technology Development Centre, Ministry of MSME, Govt of India. 

Mahendra has worked in various roles from Executive to GST Consultant with leading corporates/ consulting firm such as, E. Merck India Ltd, (German Pharma MNC), Tata Communications Payment Solutions, Johnson Controls India (US Fortune 500), Shapoorji Pallonji Company and Deloitte.

His last assignment was with SBM Bank India (State Bank of Mauritious) as “GST Consultant”.

In his various roles, has extensively handled indirect tax matters from tax compliance and filings, assessments, audits, reply to notices, tax automations, refunds and DGGI summons representations.

Mahendra’s extensive knowledge, coupled with his experience in diverse industries in various roles makes him a strategic partner in navigating the GST- related challenges.
