Dattatray Wavhal

Introduction:

Dattatray Wavhal is a retired Director (Finance) of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd., Mumbai. A Commerce and Law graduate from the University of Pune, he is a distinguished officer of the Maharashtra Finance and Accounts Services, Group A, with over 32 years of impeccable public service.

Throughout his career, he has held senior positions in finance, administration, and legal affairs within the Government of Maharashtra. His expertise spans multiple sectors, including power, healthcare, dairy, irrigation, rural and urban infrastructure, project planning, and finance. He has worked extensively with international financial institutions such as the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, as well as national financial entities like PFC, REC, and leading Indian banks.

Post-retirement, he obtained his SANAD from the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa and joined BRIGHT LEGAL, where he continues to contribute his expertise in financial, administrative, and legal matters.
